Christmas Ornaments 2018

Hello and Merry Christmas! Well, over the years we’ve gathered a fairly substantial collection of ornaments for our tree, and thought it would be nice to just highlight a couple we’ve gotten.

As far as I remember, this was the first or one of the first ornaments I was given. I’ve had it basically my whole life.

In the background you can just make out the a Baltimore crab ornament Erika made some time ago 😀

Simone gave us this one. Look at his little scarf!

Again, in the background you can see a few – one is a Nutcracker who is part of a set of three, dutifully guarding our tree against ruffians. Also in the left you can just make out a Spiderman, perched on a snowy chimney.

Here’s the latest ornament many/all of you should have gotten from Machu Picchu!

I am slowly putting up all the pictures from that trip…I hope to have them done by New Years…as well as work through the backlog of other photos to process and things to add from our travels…it’s quite the undertaking.

These are from one of the mothers…haha look at their fun faces!
Erika made this one from her internship travels in 2007
This one is from my mom…look at how hard he’s working to carry that tree!
The other latest edition
All spread out on the floor waiting for a spot!
Not an ornament but a Christmasy decoration

This Nutcracker is part of a set of three as well, with one of them being roughly 2 feet tall! He sits on the counter top waiting to crack some nuts, though we haven’t used him yet…not entirely sure if it would work out or not. Anyway, thanks for reading!

..and a bonus New Year’s Eve picture! Here’s to 2019!
