Around American Village (Okinawa)

We spent an evening walking around American Village, a little tourist area just outside of Kadena, and I brought my camera so had some time to take a few shots and also catch the fireworks. This area is very touristy, so it sometimes feels like you’re on a mini vacation, even if you’re just taking a walk after dinner. Very nice!

I dug my old 50mm prime lens out of my bag, so was working some wide open shots hoping to get some interesting textures and of course bokeh. The picture on the right is the cement pillar that the light on the left is bolted into. You wouldn’t be able to tell what it is I don’t think!

Thanks for taking a look!
